Our programs include both outward-facing projects designed to help us learn about liberal arts practices in all kinds of locations inside and outside academia as well has a handful of inward-facing initiatives designed to multiply occasions for thinking about liberal arts education in theory and practice at Swarthmore. In all of our programs, we seek to ensure that we are either creating, collecting, and sharing or analyzing and interpreting evidence of liberal arts practices. And in all of our programs, we hope to ask and answer concretely the question of what liberal arts education really is.
