1. Fill out the form below, attach your paper as a ".doc" or ".txt" file, and click the submit button. If you are using a version of Microsoft Word newer than 2003, please be sure that your document does not save as a ".docx" file. You can be sure it will save in the correct ".doc" format by selecting "save as a Word '97 document" on the save page. Please know that a WA only has enough time to read, at most, a 10-page document (normal margins, double-spaced) and plan accordingly.
  2. Call us at x8659 (610-328-8659) during open hours (Sunday-Thursday 1-4:30 pm and 7-10:30pm) to confirm receipt. We cannot get started on your paper until we hear from you, even if you request to have the paper left outside or returned by email! Please keep in mind that the earliest an evening conference can be held is 7:30.
  3. When you call, we highly recommend that you arrange a time to come in for a conference as this will allow you to get the most out of the WA experience. If you do not have time to meet with your WA, your WA can leave your paper outside the Writing Center, or your WA can email comments using Microsoft Word's track changes feature. Please note, however, that individuals wishing to conference will receive priority.
  4. Please familarize yourself with our policies so that your conference will run smoothly.
