Hi! My name is Miryam Ramirez, Class of 2021. I am a Computer Science and Education double major. I was born and raised in Queens, New York, but my family is from Mexico. I really enjoy just hanging out with friends and trying new things. My favorite thing about the Writing Center are working with students on their writing (and the snacks !).

Peem Lerdputtipongporn

I’m Peem, a rising junior and a mathematics major from Nonthaburi, Thailand. Last fall I started working as a Writing Associate (WA) and WAed for the Intro to Education course. This experience has given me an appreciation for the process of having a dialogue with fellow students, listening to their concerns, and providing constructive feedback. For the Fall 2019 semester, I will be working as a Lead Fellow and a Speaking Associate (SPA). In my free time, I usually read fiction, roam around the Crum Woods, and play Scrabble with gusto.

Hi, I'm Ray! I'm an Educational Studies and Psychology Special Major from Dunnellon, FL. The most exciting part of the Writing Program is that I'm constantly learning, whether that be about my peers, myself, or writing in general. As a first-generation college student, navigating the academic writing process can be intimidating, so I'm appreciative of the supportive community and the abundance of resources I've found at Swarthmore. As a Lead Fellow, I hope to continue to foster connections between WAs and the campus community and create new ones along the way. Outside of WAing, I've had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for the Education Studies department and as an Admissions worker. You can also find me at the Matchbox throughout the semester as I (hopefully) keep up with Barbell Club practice.

marisa mancini

Hello! My name is Marisa Mancini and I am a senior at Swarthmore. I am an honors History major with an honors minor in Political Science and a course minor in French. I am from Brookeville, Maryland. My favorite thing about the Writing Center is reading the hard work of my fellow Swatties and getting to meet new people! When I am not in the Writing Center, you can find me studying in McCabe or training with the Swat Softball team.

Hi, I'm Libby! I'm a senior from Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm majoring in Studio Art, History and Philosophy. This will be my third year working for the Writing Program. I'm looking forward to strengthening the writing community this year as a Lead Fellow. I'm constantly cycling through new hobbies, but these days you can find me running, biking, baking and searching desperately for a place to swim.
