Fire Safety Statistics

The Campus Fire Safety Right to Know Act passed by Congress a part of the Higher Education Opportunity Act requires all colleges and universities across the United States to annually disclose fire safety related information and statistics for the three most recent calendar years. These statistics must enumerate the number of fires and their causes in on-campus student housing facilities. The number of personal injuries, deaths, and the value of any property damage must also be disclosed.

The most recent Campus Fire Statistics [pdf] are provided by Swarthmore's Department of Public Safety.
