Eric Song (on leave 2019-2020)
Eric Song joined the faculty in 2009. A specialist in early modern English literature, he teaches courses on Shakespeare, Milton, and the history of Narcissus and narcissism. He is the author of Dominion Undeserved: Milton and the Perils of Creation (Cornell, 2013) and is completing a book manuscript titled Love against Substitution: Seventeenth-Century English Literature and the Meaning of Marriage. His articles have appeared in journals including ELH: English Literary History, Huntington Library Quarterly, Milton Studies, Milton Quarterly, and Modern Philology.
