This session is required for any student who will borrow from the Federal Direct Stafford Loans program now or in the future. 

Student Employment Information Session

Students share the ins and outs of working on campus.

Academic Advising Fair

10 a.m.–11:15 a.m. in Science Center

Representatives from all academic departments and programs will answer questions and assist with course selection.

Scheduling Your Academic Adviser Meeting

11:15 a.m.–12 p.m. in Adviser’s Office

Individual meetings with your adviser happen from 1 to 5 p.m., so stop by at 11:15 a.m. to schedule an individual meeting. Some advisers use this time for a small-group meeting, leading up to individual meetings in the afternoon.

Get academic advice from sophomore, junior, and senior SAMs on selecting your first classes and ask them questions about planning your courseload.

Job Fair Session 1

Get information from many on-campus employers about jobs available in their offices/departments and submit your employment forms (W-2, etc.) at this event. Session 1 and Session 2 are identical and this is not a first-come-first-served session.

Keeping Your Account Secure at Swarthmore

4:00 p.m.– 4:30 p.m. Keeping Your Account Secure at Swarthmore (TBD) in Sci 101

You'll secure your account here with something you have and something you know.  At a time where .edu credentials are getting stolen (and sold!) at historically high rates, you'll leave this session knowing how Swarthmore protects you and your information using a program called Duo.

Making Friends, Making Out: Creating Healthy Relationships

7 p.m.–8:30 p.m. in LPAC

Building and strengthening healthy relationship skills are an essential part of the college experience. In addition to making connections in the classroom, this may include exploring sex and dating. In this session, we will discuss the concepts of consent, positive sexuality, healthy dating, and how we can nurture a community free of sexual and dating violence.
