2018 Senior Exhibitions

The List Gallery at Swarthmore College is pleased to present a series of senior thesis exhibitions by graduating art majors. Varying in media from functional ceramics and light sculptures to paintings, prints, drawings, architectural studies, and collages, these exhibitions represent the capstone of each student’s course of study at Swarthmore. In September, senior art majors are provided with their own studio space in Beardsley Hall. Work independently and exchanging feedback as a group, students develop a thematically and conceptually focused body of work. Installing their work in the List Gallery under the guidance of List Gallery Director Andrea Packard, students select and arrange their artworks in a way that broadens the analytical and compositional skills gained in the studio.
The Senior Thesis Series is made possible by the Ann Trimble Warren ’38 Exhibit Endowment.
