Kym Moore

Kym Moore is delighted to return to Swarthmore as a Visiting Professor this year, after numerous stints serving as an Honors Examiner for the Theater Department. She is a New York City native, who now resides in Westchester County. Regional and Off-Broadway directing credits include: Khmer Amerika at Here Arts Center; Outside, Black, and The Date at the Women's Project and Productions; Muses at the Boston Center for the Arts; for colored girls... at Penumbra Theater; Our Country's Good and Three Ways Home for ISU's SummerStage; and Cover (finalist) for the Samuel French One-Act Play Festival. Kym is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, as well as a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab. She is a graduate of the MFA Directing Program at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, and currently teaches acting and directing at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at the State University of New York/ Purchase College.
