I hope you are enjoying your summer. I’m writing to share information about the College’s inclusion of additional COVID-19 vaccines for the Fall 2021 academic year. Earlier this year, we shared that the College would accept COVID-19 vaccination with any FDA approved vaccine. Consistent with CDC guidelines, the College will now accept vaccination with the following FDA approved or World Health Organization (WHO) recognized COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca-CoviShield, Sinopharm-VeroCell, and Sinovac-Coronavac.
If you have received one of the above listed vaccines, upload your documentation to your student health portal. A photo of your vaccination card will need to be uploaded to your portal as well as entering the dates you received the specific vaccine. If you have not received a vaccination but plan to prior to returning to campus, please upload the required documentation as soon as you receive your COVID-19 vaccine. If you are not able to receive the vaccine due to a medical or religious exemption, please complete this waiver form and upload it to your student health portal. If you are planning to receive the COVID-19 vaccine upon arrival on campus, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so you can be included on the vaccination roster. You are required to upload your vaccination documentation as outlined above or notify me with your plan for vaccination by August 1, 2021.
In collaboration with the Office of Student Engagement, the Office of International Studies, and the Orientation Planning Committee, we developed a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document to address questions concerning vaccination, quarantine, testing, move-in, orientation, and access to services. Additionally, the College will continue to monitor the various federal and state recommendations associated with the global pandemic and make appropriate adjustments to the Garnet Pledge as needed. You can find the most updated information on the Garnet Pledge here.
If you have any additional questions, please email me at email@example.com.
