- Can I still register for Alumni Weekend?

Pre-registration for Alumni Weekend 2022, including registration for on-campus housing, closed on Friday, May 6. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come, first served basis at registration in Shane Student Lounge at Parrish Hall.
- What's the resource fee?

Registration does not cover the full cost of Alumni Weekend. The resource fee ($10/registrant) helps cover the additional expenses of Alumni Weekend, including support from Public Safety, Environmental Services, and student workers.
- Do I need to register my children?

Children under 6 years old are free and you do not need to register them for Alumni Weekend. Children ages 6–12 receive discounted pricing and should be registered for all meals and activities. Please note: pre-registration is now closed. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come, first served basis at registration in Shane Student Lounge at Parrish Hall.
- When is the schedule of events going to be available?

A complete schedule of events will be available in mid-May, however these schedule highlights should give you a good sense of the weekend. Not all class or reunion cohort activities are listed, so you may also want to reach out to your class reunion committee to find out what else is in the works.

- What accommodations are available on campus?

Registration for on-campus housing has closed. If you requested a room while registering for Alumni Weekend 2022, you should have received a confirmation email on Thursday, May 12 with important information about your reservation and what to expect when staying on campus. Residence hall assignments and room numbers will not be available until check-in.

- Can I register for on-campus housing without registering for Alumni Weekend?

No, on-campus housing is only available to individuals registering for Alumni Weekend. Registration for on-campus housing is closed.
- Can I make my own travel and hotel accommodations?

- I reserved on-campus housing. Where will my room be, and will I be housed with my classmates?

Residence hall and room assignments will be made just prior to the weekend. While we make every effort to house classes together, we cannot guarantee any housing assignments.
- Are the buildings on campus air conditioned?

Most dorms are not air conditioned, although classroom buildings and Sharples Dining Hall are.
- What if I need help getting around campus?

Golf carts will be on call to provide transportation to alumni needing assistance. A cart can be summoned Thursday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 8 a.m.–10 p.m.; and Sunday 8 a.m.–2 p.m. by calling 610-957-6106. The College is unable to provide wheelchairs, but information for local medical equipment rentals is available on the Accessibility page.
- Can I make a change to my registration after it has been finalized?

To change your registration, contact the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement at alumniweekend@swarthmore.edu or 610-328-7332.
- How will I know that my registration is confirmed?

After completing the registration process online, you should have received a confirmation email. This confirmation email will be resent to you on Wednesday, May 25. If you requested on-campus housing while registering for Alumni Weekend 2022, you should have received an additional confirmation email on Thursday, May 12.

- If I cancel my registration, can I get a refund?

Yes, please request your refund no later than May 24. However, if you need to cancel your registration after that date due to a close contact or positive COVID-19 test, we will happily honor your request. When requesting your refund, you may wish to consider donating your registration fee to The Swarthmore Fund to support current Swarthmore students. You can designate your gift to a specific area such as financial aid, an academic department, an athletic team, the Student Emergency Fund, or whatever inspires you.
- Will the College provide childcare during Alumni Weekend?

Swarthmore does not provide childcare during Alumni Weekend. The Philadelphia Nanny Network is a local, bonded agency that operates contractual childcare services. Alumni and families looking for childcare should contact Philadelphia Nanny Network directly at least four weeks in advance for details and scheduling. This agency is neither affiliated nor endorsed by Swarthmore College.
