How to Access the Online Community

Alumni

Already have your Online Community login? Go to the login page and click the “Alumni” button to sign in.

If you do not have an Online Community login, sign up on the account creation page. Please include your first name, last name, preferred email address, and College ID number when you create your account. Look up your College ID number. If any of these items do not match our records exactly, you will be given temporary access to the Community and will only be able to update your profile. Once you receive a verification email from Alumni Records, you will be able to search the community and access resources. This can take up to 72 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: When you register, be sure to type in your College ID number with the leading zeros up to 7 digits (e.g. if your ID is 123, type in 0000123).

After you register, you will receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. Click the link in the email to confirm your identity and create a password. If, in the future, you forget your password, you'll be able to change it yourself through a reset email.

Students

Log in to the Online Community using your Swarthmore credentials. As a student, alumni will not be able to search for you in the Online Community and you cannot change certain pieces of your profile information. Once you graduate, you will be able to update your information directly from your profile, but for now any changes need to go through the Registrar's office. You do not need to register, just log in using the “Students, Faculty, & Staff” button.

Faculty & Staff

Log in to the Online Community using your Swarthmore credentials. Simply go to the login page and click the “Students, Faculty, & Staff” button to sign in. If you are a member of the faculty or staff AND an alum, please follow the directions above on accessing the Online Community as Alumni. While faculty and staff can search for alumni within the Online Community, they cannot search for you. While you can make some edits to your profile, please note that you must contact Human Resources to change your address.

Friends, Parents, & Families

Already have your Online Community login? Go to the login page and click the “Friends and Family” button to sign in.

If you do not have an Online Community login, sign up on the account creation page. When creating your account please include your first name, last name, and preferred email address. For your security, your account will need to be verified. You will receive an email from Alumni Records upon completion. This can take up to 72 hours. After your account has been verified, you will receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. Click the link in the email to confirm your identity and create a password. If, in the future, you forget your password, you'll be able to change it yourself through an email reset.

Friends are not permitted to search for alumni in the directory, and friends are not searchable. You are able to update your contact information and set mailing and event preferences.
