2020 Spring Semester

January 18 Residence halls open at noon.
January 19 Meal plan starts at dinner.
January 20 Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Day Holiday. No classes on MLK Day. MLK Day morning classes are not rescheduled. MLK Day afternoon classes are rescheduled for Wednesday evening of MLK week. MLK Day evening classes are not rescheduled.
January 21 Classes begin.
January 22 Wednesday evening of MLK week follows the schedule for MLK Monday afternoon classes. The normal Wednesday evening teaching time is 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Classes otherwise scheduled for Wednesday evenings are not rescheduled.
January 31 Drop/add ends. Last day to delete a course from or add one to permanent registration. Students with once-a-week classes may extend some adding and dropping into the third week of classes, depending upon the approval of the professor teaching the class to be added.
March 1 Final examination schedule available online.
March 6 Spring Break begins after last class.
March 16 Spring classes resume at 8:30 a.m.
March 25 Schedule of courses and seminars for next semester available online.
March 27 Last day to declare CR/NC grading option. Last day to withdraw from a course and receive the grade "W."
April 1 All accounts must show a $0 or positive balance to enroll and select a room for the fall semester.
March 30–April 10 Advising period.
April 13–15 Pre-enrollment for fall semester.
April 15 Pre-enrollment ends at 4 p.m.
May 1 Classes and seminars end.
May 7–14 Course final and honors written examinations.
May 15 Meal plan ends at dinner for all but seniors.
May 15 Residence halls close to all but seniors at 11:59 p.m. (Non-seniors are expected to leave the College within 24 hours after their last examination.)
May 17–19 Honors orals
May 23 Baccalaureate
May 24 Commencement
May 25 Residence halls close to seniors at 9 a.m.
May 29–31 Alumni Weekend
