We are happy to announce the start of a new wellness program—the PAISIG Walking and Activity Tracking Program. It’s the perfect fitness tool for staff and faculty to take with them as school winds down for the year and busy summers get underway! This new program will run from 6/3/13 through 8/30/13. We want to help improve the health and overall sense of well-being of all the staff and faculty of PAISIG member schools. Physical activity can help decrease the risk of chronic and critical illnesses, such as heart disease, and increase immunity to common illnesses, such as colds. The PAISIG Walking & Activity Tracking Program is designed to support these goals through incentives, social support, an online tracking tool and mobile app, and weekly motivational messages. All kinds of activities are included in this program—this is not strictly a WALKING Program.
