Removing people from a list

Adding a new person to a faculty/staff list

  • Go to the site's faculty and/or staff listing page
  • Click the cog to the right of the list to reveal the menu and choose "Add Person"

  • Select the person from the dropdown list, or just start typing their last name.  Once selected click on the "Add Person" button at the bottom of the form.

  • The person will be added to the list at the bottom by default. To reorder the list, use the cog menu again and select "Arrange People"
  • Drag and drop items into order and "Save Changes"

Concerning new faculty and staff

  • A day or two after new faculty and staff Banner accounts are created, their Drupal profiles are also created. 
  • Once this happens the person's essential contact information is available to be added to a "People List" module
  • In addition to contact information, each profile allows a person to add more information such as a biographay or curriculum vitae.  This additional information is not available for the world to see until the individual makes the choice to make the profile public.

To make a profile public

  • To make their profiles public, new faculty/staff should log into Drupal and and choose the option "Make Profile Public". Choose Make Profile Public
  • When a profile is made public a "Profile" link will appear on the fac/staff directory pages

Removing people

  • Go to the site's faculty and/or staff listing page
  • Click the cog to the right of the list to reveal the menu and choose "Arrange People"
  • Click on the "Remove" button to remove people from the list
