I grew up in upstate New York, went to junior high and high school in San Diego, now live here in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and during breaks I travel to Massachusetts where my family currently lives. Experiencing various environments with different levels of cultural affiliations has helped me understand the importance of an intercultural community that focuses on collaboration and collective understanding. I enjoy studying the natural sciences and in the future, I hope to work in the health care field. While the school year is focused mostly on my academics, I like to make sure that my summers are a time where my work can benefit my community, wherever that may be.
