Morning shuttle driver Harrison Russin '09 (above) is one of the many members of the Swarthmore community who help students "get around." True, Swarthmore's pastoral 357-acre campus is the home of the Scott Arboretum. But there is a limit to how much natural beauty any one person can take. What about the beauty of volunteering in nearby Chester? Or of taking private music lessons in Philadelphia? Or even of satisfying a craving on a supermarket run? Sometimes you just need to venture a further bit afield.
