Consortium Interview Days
Recruiting interview days are consortium events where potential employers come together to interview pre-selected candidates from the participating schools. Potential employers post job and/or internship descriptions for students to review and apply. Each consortium event has a student application deadline; after the deadline, the applications are sent to the employers for review. Then, employers select candidates they would like to interview on the date of the event.
Recruiting interview days are a great way for students to apply to many opportunities and if selected, interview for many positions in one day. Be sure to ask your Career Counselor for more information if you are interested in learning more about these interview days.Engineering and Technical Career and Internship Consortium (ETCIC)
When: Friday, October 18, 2013 (New York City) and Friday, November 1, 2013 (Boston)
This annual off-campus recruiting event, open to a select consortium of schools including Swarthmore College, provided students with an opportunity to interview for entry-level jobs and internships with a variety of employers. It's not your typical career fair -- it was a more intimate setting in which to discuss career opportunities and present your qualifications face-to-face! Students in any engineering discipline, as well as Computer Science and Physics majors, were encouraged to check out this event and apply for positions.
- If you missed the ETCIC events in the fall, this is your chance to apply and be considered for opportunities with many of the same employers, as well as some new ones! Positions will be posted throughout the academic year with spring deadlines of January 31, February 28, March 31, and April 30. ETCIC online resume collections program is an opportunity for students in engineering, computer science, IT and related disciplines to apply for job and internship opportunities with a variety of engineering and technical employers.
