Interview Days & Career Fairs
By participating in our consortium interview days, you have the opportunity to recruit not only motivated talented Swarthmore students and alumni, but also students and alumni from our partner schools. Swarthmore College has joined other colleges and universities to coordinate interview days in New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia. Through these events, employers who have hiring needs and students interested in working for those organizations have the opportunity to interview in one location convenient to both parties. To participate in any of our consortium interview days, please contact Career Services or by phone at 610-328-8352.
How do the consortium days work for employers?
- Employers register for the event they are interested in participating.
- Employers then submit job descriptions to be reviewed by students.
- Students review all job postings from the organizations involved and submit applications.
- Employers receive the student applications from the participating schools.
- Employers review the applications and select students they wish to interview.
- Employers notify the event coordinator of their selections.
The event coordinator notifies the students of their interview selections and creates a schedule.
