On Feb 20: The Garnet closed out the 1998-99 campaign with a 55-47 victory over Haverford to earn their 12th victory of the season. The 12 wins was the most since the 1985-86 season and their best record since a 14-11 mark in 1984-85. Heather Marandola led the way with 18 points while Heather Kile posted her 22nd double-double of the season with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

NCAA Championships in Minnesota

On Feb. 19-21: The Garnet placed second at the Centennial Conference Championships for the fourth consecutive season behind Gettysburg. The Bullets amassed 796.5 points to the Garnet's 492.5. Ted Sherer set a school, conference and meet record in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:09.07. Sherer also won the 100 breaststroke leading a garnet sweep as Fred Gerson finished second and Yasu Denda third.

NCAA Championships at Miami of Ohio

On Feb. 19-21: The Garnet placed second for the fifth consecutive season at the Centennial Conference Championships. Alice Bonarou led the way for the Garnet and was named outstanding female swimmwe of the meet. Bonarou captured the 200IM (2:11.99) and the 400 IM (4:39.22) in school record times, placed second in the 200 butterfly and swam a led on the winning 800 freestyle relay. Joining Bonarou in the winners circle were Amy Auerbach 500 free (5:15.41), and 100 back (1:02.32), Melissa Amir-Arjomand 100 breast (1:07.51), and Claire Arbour in the 200 freestyle (1:57.02). Auerbach, Arbour, and Jenny Harvey joined Bonarou on the relay team.

On Feb. 20: The Garnet placed sixth out of seven squads at the Centennial Conference Championships. Freshman Heavyweight Justin Pagliei posted the best finish for the Garnet capturing second place. Adrien Wilson finished in fourth at 141 and Ted Chan placed fourth at 165.
