Swarthmore College Women's Basketball Ranked in Academic Honor Roll

 

The Swarthmore College women's basketball team appears on the 2000 Academic Top-25 Team Honor Roll, announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

The honor roll recognizes the nation's highest NCAA Division I, II and III team grade point averages for the 1999-2000 season. The Swarthmore team compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.475 that ranks eighth in Division III and 11th overall.

Coached by Adrienne Shibles, he 1999-2000 squad also excelled on the court, posting a school-best 14-win season that earned the team a berth in the Centennial Conference playoffs for the first time in program history.

Swarthmore College is a highly selective liberal arts college located 11 miles southwest of Philadelphia in Swarthmore, PA.
