Freshman center, Sarah Tufano (Cromwell, CT - Cromwell HS) averaged 19.0 points and 6.0 rebounds, while shooting 67 percent from the floor (14-of-21), as the Garnet defeated Haverford and Gettysburg.She had a career-high 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting vs. the Fords, while also collecting nine rebounds. Tufano had 14 points vs. the Bullets, including the game-winning free throws, as Swarthmore defeated Gettysburg for the first time ever. For the season Tufano is averaging 11.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. The Garnet are 10-7 overall and 6-1 in the Centennial Conference East Division.
