Agunloye & Jeuland All-Americans in 10,000

 

Swarthmore College seniors Joko Agunloye and Marc Jeuland earned All-American honors in the 10,000-meter run at the 2001 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Agunloye finished the race in third place, running in a school record time of 36:15.08 shattering the record she set earlier this season by 28.33 seconds.

Jeuland placed sixth in his race in a time of 31:07.36 to earn All-American honors.

The duo will compete in the 5,000-meter run on Saturday.

Junior Imo Akpan finished in sixth place in her heat of the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.11 and placed seventh in her long jump flight leaping 16'3.75". She did not advance to the final in either event. Akpan will run in the 400-meter trials on Friday.
