Jen believes in the strong link between personal identity and career fulfillment. Joining the college in 1999, she has been rewarded by working with the fabulous students and colleagues at Swarthmore. Jen enjoys the balance between career counseling and alumni/student program planning her job affords her. She enjoys educating students about their career options and sees her job as being an educator for career development. Managing the Extern program is a major component of Jen's responsibilities. She finds it very rewarding to hear about the hundreds of successful experiences students gain through Extern. Jen is passionate helping students learn firsthand from alumni about careers and that students find internship experiences to continue their career education and development.
