Sue Schmidt Garden - Cherry Border. Photo by Rhoda Maurer.

really like the composition of this photo, with the tree branch overhead coming in at a slant and the cherry blossoms framing most of the picture. It makes you feel like you're there in the garden, sitting on the whispering bench or on the grass. During the spring, I always take the detour route back to my dorm so that I can walk through here, because the view is just absolutely beautiful when all the flowers are blooming. This is also where the Arboretum holds its annual Arbor Day Celebration and I have good memories of sitting under these trees while painting ladybugs, flowers, and bees on the cheeks of little kids."
