Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia.' Photo by Jimmy Jin '10.

y meeting with this tree seemed to be some kind of rendezvous with destiny (as Professor of Economics Mark Kuperberg would say). The very moment I laid my eyes upon this tree, I knew that I had come at the perfect time to the perfect place. The tree's leaves radiated an intense yellow hue as the sun's rays breathed through them. Although there are many aesthetically pleasing elements about the tree as a whole, I felt obligated to capture this once-in-a-blue-moon timing by focusing in on this particular branch that was absolutely glowing."
