Robinia pseudoacacia 'Frisia.' Photo by Jimmy Jin '10.

he day I took this picture was ideal for photography. The sky was blue, but not so blue that it was boring. There were a few wisps of clouds lingering around. The wind was low, so I didn't need to worry about blurry shots from branches blowing around. And the sunlight was divine. When I came to this tree in the Nason Garden behind Trotter Hall, the whole tree was positively radiant that day. The yellow color screamed for attention against a backdrop of blue sky."
