ach year, the Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore College employs students in a number of positions. Here, Alix Gould-Werth '07, Robert Manduca '10, Uma Nagendra '09, Omari Faakye '10, Yimei Zou '10, and (not pictured at left) Reina Chano '09 and Jimmy Jin '10 describe the role they play and how it has helped them foster a deeper connection to the campus. Each chose photos of some of their favorite places to accompany their thoughts.

The Scott Arboretum is named for Arthur Hoyt Scott, a member of the Class of 1895 whose family established a horticultural foundation in his name at Swarthmore in 1929.
