The eponymous heroine of PBS' new animated series "WordGirl," premiering this week, is the alter ego of Dorothea Gillem '86, the show's creator and executive producer.  Featuring a lead character from the planet Lexicon, the show is designed to entertain children and teach them about vocabulary.
