Peace Movement Leaders to Hold Panel Discussion at Swarthmore College

"An Evening with Dangerous Women:  Making Peace a Reality," a panel discussion with seven peace movement leaders from the 1960s to the 2000s, will be held at Swarthmore College on Wednesday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Scheuer Room, Kohlberg Hall.  The discussion is free and open to the public.

The panel members are past presidents of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), one of the world's oldest and largest women's peace organizations.  Speakers include Betty Burkes, Marge Boehm, Yvonne Logan, Sandy Silver, Darien De Lu, Anne Ivey, Jean Gore, and Phyllis Yingling.  Video highlights will be included from Marii Hasegawa and Mary Zepernick.
