New Mascot Designs Now on View/>

Following the selection last spring of the phoenix as Swarthmore's new mascot, students submitted design ideas to a committee of students and staff members. According to physical education professor and committee member Karen Borbee, the two winning designs (below) both contain elements that could serve as the basis of a phoenix costume. Next week, college representatives will meet with a professional costume vendor to plan the next steps.
