Membership in Gamelan Semara Santi is open to any student at Swarthmore College. Students with little or no formal training in music are welcome to play; no audition is necessary. Students who wish to dance should have a strong background in some form of dance (not necessarily Indonesian dance). We are sometimes able to accommodate interested musicians and dancers who are not enrolled at Swarthmore College, but space is limited. If you are interested in joining, please e-mail Tom Whitman.
