Spring Break Campus Resources

RESIDENCE HALLS:

ALL COLLEGE RESIDENCE HALLS WILL REMAIN OPEN DURING FALL BREAK.
With the fluctuations that will occur in student population and the resulting smaller number of students in residence halls, security issues may be somewhat more prominent. Please be sure to keep outside doors and individual room doors locked and consider removing from easy visibility items which are particularly valuable.
No registered parties will be accepted over Spring Break.  Registration requests will be accepted when classes resume.
​Guests are not permitted in residence halls during this time.​

PUBLIC SAFETY AND THE COLLEGE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER:

The Office of Public Safety and the College Communications Center will operate on a regular schedule during semester break--there will be no curtailment of services.  Administrative Office Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

SHUTTLE SERVICE:

Morning Shuttle(s) Mon-Friday - 7:30AM - 10:30AM, Saturday   - 10:30AM -12:00PM
​ (note: only 1 morning shuttle will be in rotation)​
Evening Shuttle(s) Sun-Sat    - 6:00PM -  2:30AM

PARKING REMINDER:

College parking regulations are strictly enforced every day of the year including fall break.
All student vehicles must have a permit to be parked on college property and must be parked in their designated lot. Please contact Public Safety at x8000 with any questions or concerns.

FOOD & DINING:

During this time, the college will be providing limited meal options for those students who are on the campus meal plan but not leaving during ​Spring
 Break.  While there will be options available in Essie Mae's and Sharples during the week, these spaces will be closed on the weekend, and additional snacks will be provided.  Please note that you will need to use your College meal plan for meals in Essie Mae's and Sharples​ but will not need your meal plan for weekend snacks.  

Saturday, March 5: 

Snacks (e.g. bagels, granola, fruit) will be available in the Danawell Kitchen.  Additionally, a limited amount of Pizza will be available in Parrish Parlors at 5pm.

Sunday, March 6: 

Snacks will be available in the Danawell Kitchen.  Additionally, a limited amount of Pizza will be available in Parrish Parlors at 5pm.

Monday, March 7 - Friday, March 11:

Breakfast/Lunch (Essie Mae's): 9:30am - 2pm (1 meal equivalency is accepted​ for​ breakfast OR lunch.  You will need to use points or cash for any additional meals or items).

Light Dinner (Sharples): 4:30pm - 6:30pm (1 meal swipe is accepted - no double or guest swipes permitted)

Note: Snacks will continue to be available in the Danawell Kitchen.

Saturday, March 12: Snacks will be available in the Danawell Kitchen.  Additionally, a limited amount of Pizza will be available in Parrish Parlors at 5pm.

Sunday, March 13: Sharples will re-open for a light brunch and dinner

COUNSELING & PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES (CAPS):

CAPS will close at 4 pm on Friday, March 4th.
The office will be open Monday, March 7th through Friday, March 11th from 10 am - 2 pm during spring break.
CAPS On Call is available by phone at 610-328-7768.

STUDENT HEALTH & WELLNESS (WORTH HEALTH CENTER):

The Student Health & Wellness Center will close at 4 pm on Friday, March 4th.
A registered nurse is available Monday, March 7th through Friday, March 11th from 10 am - 2 pm during spring break.
An after hours on call registered nurse is available by phone at 610-328-8548.

COLLEGE AND DEPARTMENTAL OFFICES:

All College offices will be open during regular business hours (8:30-4:30 p.m.) during the break.  
The Registrar's Office is open during these hours for any questions regarding courses/scheduling
Hours for academic departments and advisors will vary--please consult with the individual department and/or professor in these instances.
