Etta M. Tilton (birth-death dates?):
Etta M. Tilton graduated from the State Normal School at San Jose, California in 1873, and taught continuously thereafter, including nine years in San Mateo, County, California. In 1895 she was elected to a four year term as San Mateo County school superintendent. She was re-elected twice, serving until 1907.
