Biographical / Historical

Herbert M. Hadley served as General Secretary of Friends World Committee in Birmingham, England, from 1956-1962, then moved to Philadelphia to head the FWCC American Section until his retirement in 1980. Born in Oklahoma, he graduated from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, in 1939. He was married to Ruthanna Davis Hadley.
