Bridgewater Monthly Meeting was established in 1817. After the 1828 Separation, The Hicksite branch, which became part of Genesee Yearly Meeting, changed its name to Verona Monthly Meeting in 1840 and was laid down in 1880. The name of Bridgewater (Orthodox) was changed to New Hartford Monthly Meeting in 1843 and to Westmoreland Monthly Meeting in 1867. It was laid down in 1924.
