Scipio Quarterly Meeting was set off from Farmington Quarterly Meeting by New York Yearly Meeting in 1825. It was composed of Scipio Monthly Meeting, DeRuyter Monthly Meeting, and Hector Monthly Meeting. It was divided in the separation of 1828 and Congregational Friends separated in 1848, and the Hicksite branch became a half-yearly meeting in 1918. Scipio Half Yearly Meeting of Friends was laid down in 1924.
