Rochester Monthly Meeting was set off in 1825 by Farmington Quarterly Meeting. In 1828 it split into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Orthodox branch fell into disorder and was laid down in 1902.

Divided into series: Minutes, men's and joint: 1.1 1828-1844, 1.2 1845-1868, 1.3 1888-1901; Minutes, women's: 2.1 1828-1854, 2.2 1855-1873; Ministers and Elders' minutes: 3.1 1831-1854, 3.2 1854-1866.
