Biographical / Historical

Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting was established by New York Yearly Meeting in 1783. Cornwall Quarterly Meeting was set off from Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting in 1816. Both Quarterly Meetings split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches in 1828. The Hicksite Cornwall Quarterly Meeting was laid down in 1846. Hicksite Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting became Nine Partners Half-Yearly Meeting in 1888. The Orthodox Cornwall Quarterly Meeting merged with the Nine Partners Quarterly meeting to become Cornwall-Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting in 1950. In 1959 Cornwall-Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting united with Nine Partners Half-Yearly Meeting to become Nine Partners Quarterly.
