Biographical / Historical

Maryland Preparative Meeting was established by the Hicksite branch of Butternuts Monthly Meeting in 1828. Butternuts Monthly Meeting changed its name to Laurens Monthly Meeting and reportedly was laid down in 1857. Maryland Preparative Meeting may have been laid at the same time.
