Junius Monthly Meeting was established in 1815, set off from Farmington Monthly Meeting. The Hicksite branch was set off to Genesee Yearly Meeting on its establishment in 1834. After many members of Junius Preparative Meeting affiliated with Congregational Friends and and were dropped from membership, the remaining Hicksites continued to meet as Junius Monthly Meeting in the meetinghouse at Galen. The latter was laid down in 1863, members attached to Farmington Monthly Meeting (Hicksite). The Orthodox branch was laid down in 1828, and members were attached to Galen Preparative Meeting (Orthodox).

Records of Junius Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) and its pre-Separation predecessor, 1734-1866. Includes: Men's minutes, 1815-1834 and 1849-1863, women's minutes, 1844-1863, and a membership book, 1734-1866.
