History of the Meeting

Hardwick and Mendham Monthly Meeting was established in 1797, set off from Kingwood Monthly Meeting. In 1811 the name of the meeting was changed to Hardwick and Randolph Monthly Meeting. This meeting was laid down in 1855, members attached to Rahway and Plainfield.
