		<p>East Hoosack Monthly Meeting was established in 1783, set off from
		  Saratoga Monthly Meeting. The Hicksite branch of this meeting was laid down in
		  1847, members attached to Easton Monthly. The Orthodox branch was laid down in
		  1845, members attached to Saratoga Monthly.</p>

		  women’s meetings for business and registers of births, deaths, marriages,
		  removals (transfers), and disownments. In general, non-members are not
		  mentioned in the minutes, even when they attended meeting for worship on a
		  regular basis.</p>
