Cornwall, formerly New Cornwall, Preparative Meeting was reportedly established in 1777 as a part of Nine Partners Monthly, having been indulged as a meeting for worship since 1773. It was set off to Creek Monthly Meeting on its establishment in 1782 and became a part of Cornwall Monthly Meeting in 1788. After the Separation in 1828 there were Hicksite and Orthodox branches of this meeting.
