Branch Preparative Meeting was established 7mo 1783 as a part of Oblong Monthly Meeting, having been reportedly allowed as a meeting of worship since 1776 at John Wing's house. The Hicksite meeting was laid down 3mo 1854; members were probably attached to Oblong Preparative Meeting (Hicksite). Branch Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) was reportedly laid down 2 mo 1829, and members were probably joined to Oblong Preparative Meeting (Orthodox)
