Program included a 20 minute set of traditional Balinese compositions performed by Gamelan Semara Santi, and Messiaen's Turangalila Symphony, performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra, and conducted by music director C. Eschenbach.
At the three concerts in Philadelphia, the full gamelan also performed a lecture and demonstration about Balinese music.
