published in the November 28, 1944 issue of the Phoenix

W.H. Auden of the English Department will speak on "Rimbaud's Influence on English Poetry" at the French House on Thursday evening, November 30, at 8:30 p.m. The talk, which, because of its subject matter, will be given partly in French and partly in English, is open to all those who wish to attend and is particularly recommended to students taking courses in French and English literature. The talk will be preceded by a French dinner, cooked and prepared by Mme. Markevitch and the students of the French House, at which Mr. Auden is to be guest of honor.
