Goals

The Challenge: Flesh out these goals with objectives.

The goals that follow describe what we strive for, what we believe supports the Libraries' mission, and which will nudge us ever nearer to our vision. These goals are broad, but they are realistic and achievable.

Take a look at those that are interesting or relevant to you. The goals are not tied to specific library departments or functions but reach across the libraries. You may not see yourself in every goal, and perhaps you think that there are important goals that are missing. Please let us know below.

Spend some time considering what you think we need to do to achieve that goal. That's an objective. Objectives describe how to accomplish goals; they are more than just things that we'll do. They provide guide to reaching a goal, and give us direction. They will enable us to better focus our activites and efforts.
