Frequently Asked Questions about Borrowing Beyond TriCo
Who is eligible to use these services?
Actively enrolled students, active faculty and staff, and emeritus faculty are eligible to borrow beyond TriCo.
Is there a limit to the number of requests I can make?
There is no limit, but please place your requests in order of need since they might not all be processed on the same day.
Can I renew these items?
You may renew E-ZBorrow materials twice. For other InterLibrary Loan items, each lending library sets its own policy on renewals.
- Some libraries do not grant renewals, in which case we'll indicate that on the item you've borrowed.
- If you'd like to request a renewal, contact the Interlibrary Loan Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610.328.7822 before the item is due.
- We ask that you please return items promptly when due, not only to avoid overdue fines, but to avoid jeopardizing our borrowing relationships with other lending libraries.
Are there things I can't borrow through this service?
Theses and dissertations may be difficult to borrow. We will probably not be able to borrow: reference books, rare books, works of art, posters, vinyl LPs, valuable or fragile items, newspapers (except possibly in microform), non-U.S. newspapers, and pre-publication items.
