Alternative Break Projects

Organize an Alternative Break Project

Swarthmore College students have a long history of creating their own alternative break projects with other Swarthmore College students. Recent project sites have included New Orleans to do post-Katrina clean up and restoration; work with Habitat for Humanity in Appalachia, and projects with various Philadelphia organizations including Kensington Welfare Rights Union. For information on organizing and funding a break project, contact Jennifer Magee (jmagee1@swarthmore.edu).
