Local Calls

Calls to the following locations are provided at no charge: Ardmore (Haverford), Bryn Mawr, Chester, Glenolden, Havertown, Landsdowne, Marcus Hook, Media, Newtown Square, Ridley Park, Sharon Hill, Springfield, Swarthmore, Upper Darby, and Woodlyn. For an up-to-date list of exchanges in the 610 and 484 area codes correcsponding to these local calling communities, consult the Verizon Western Delaware County/Main Line directory provided to RAs and Campus departments or in the libraries, or by calling the Help Desk at ext. 4357.

Measured Calls

All calls to the (215) area code and all calls to the (610) area code to suburban Philadelphia locations are not considered local are considered measured calls. These calls are charged on a per minute basis according to the rates indicated above. Contact the Bell Atlantic Western Delaware County telephone directory for additional details. All measured calls are $0.05/min at all times.

Long Distance Calls

All calls to area codes other than (215) and (610) within the United States are considered long distance calls. In addition, calls within the (610) area code to areas not considereed local or measured service are also charged long distance rates. These are areas of (610) considered beyond the suburban Philadelphia area. Contact the Bell Atlantic Western Delaware County telephone directory for additional details. All domestic long distance calls are $0.07/min at all times.

International Calls

Calls to Canada, Mexico and the Carribean as well as calls to all other countries are considered international calls.
